2026 Basic Life Support Provider of the Year Award: Morgan Castelli
Raised in a dedicated EMS family, Morgan Castelli arrived in the field with an instinct for patient care and a clinical maturity well beyond her years. She quickly proved herself at Ballston Lake EMS before expanding her service to the Community Emergency Corps. On her very first orientation call—a high-stress cardiac arrest—she stepped forward without hesitation to secure the airway and initiate ventilations, displaying the calm decisiveness of a veteran provider from day one. Whether handling routine transports or critical calls, she treats every patient with absolute precision and genuine compassion. Beyond her sharp clinical execution, Morgan is the backbone of her teams. She regularly picks up open shifts to maintain community coverage, tutors students through demanding coursework, and designs original visual aids to run peer trainings. Her positive energy is a constant morale booster across the entire agency. As she prepares to enter paramedic school next year, Morgan represents the very best of emergency medical services and an inspiring role model for the future of EMS in New York State. For her excellence, positivity, and mentorship, Morgan Castelli is awarded the 2026 BLS Provider of the Year by the Saratoga County EMS Council.
