On April 4, 2007, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department plans to cut over to a new CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) program. Of the many enhancements this will eventually provide, the first significant addition will be capability to fax times, numbers, and run info to agencies at the conclusion of each run. Ultimately, it would be desirable for every service to be capable of receiving faxes from communications in order to reduce radio and telephone traffic.
