Participating Corps
The majority of ambulance providers serving Saratoga County are volunteer organizations. Many employ paid personnel to supplement volunteer ranks. Emergency calls are received through an Enhanced 911 system with centralized dispatch. Saratoga County was the first in New York State to require defibrillation training for all ambulance service providers. Most agencies provide Advanced Life Support and extend this level of care to the entire County through a Mutual Aid Agreement.
